• Own Your Own Business as an Independent Contractor!
  Own your own business by leasing a truck from C.R. England. We will lease you a truck with no money down, no credit check and then contract with you to deliver our freight. We offer multiple leasing options so that you can find a truck leasing program that works best for you. We offer new and used trucks, short and long-term leases so that you can fidn the truck that is just right for you.
• Own the Road as an Owner Operator!
  You've worked hard to build your own business, now make it easy to reap the rewards. We offer the longest average length of haul in the industry! Partner with C.R. England as an Owner Operator with your own tractor.
• Become a Driver Trainer!
  With as little as six months experience, you can become a Driver Trainer and earn extra money by training new drivers during their training period. You will be paid for every mile your trainee drives and can almost double your income.

Experienced Driver/CDL Holder Check List

Experienced drivers will attend our company orientation. You will be expected to bring the following items:

• Enough money for food and necessities until your first paycheck (Approx 15 Days)
• CDL License
• Social Security Card
• List of Social Security Numbers of your spouse and children for health insurance
• Must be a U. S. Citizen
• Voided check if you want your paycheck direct deposited
• Bedding (twin sheet and blanket or sleeping bag)
• Pillow
• Enough Clothes for at least one week (Be sure to include coat, hat and gloves. Much of the training is done outside.)
• Toiletries: Towels, soaps, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, tooth paste, razor, etc.
• Calculator, pens/pencils, notepad
• Alarm Clock
• Sun Glasses

Only bring what you need during your school and training period. There is limited space for storage and in the truck with your trainer. Limit is two bags plus your bedding. You can pick up the remainder of your possessions, once you are in your own truck during hometime.

Experienced Drivers/CDL Holders Orientation Information

Orientation begins on Monday and lasts until Thursday.

Orientation is 3 1/2 days and will introduce you to CR England policies and expectations. Once you complete the orientation you will be hired by C. R. England, you will either be assigned a Phase I trainer, or be placed with your team partner. Your first payday will be the second Tuesday after you are hired.

During orientation you will be given a driving test, pre-hire interview and a physical and drug test. The physical will cost you $35.00 and will be payroll deducted from your pay once you are hired.
